Hello, I’m a envagelist knowledge hunter storyteller software architect designer!

So, almost everyday I see or hear a diferent term for one position, is it just trendy to a Webdesigner call himself Full Stack Designer or to a Psychologist call himself a Knowledge Hunter? What the f*ck is a Knowledge Hunter? Aren’t we all knowledge hunters?

I do understand one point, work as we know it’s constantly shifting. We’re in a era where new jobs and roles are created in a blink of a eye.

More and more we’re products and we’re encouraged to sell ourself’s. As a Webdesigner I try to sell myself through my logo, my work, my ideologies, a developer would try to sell himself through the technologies that he master’s or know’s, a Marketeer would do the same through it’s campaings or articles, and so on.

My point on this? Don’t invent yourself a new job title just for the sake of looking trendy.

Our action define us, do you want to be known as a really great developer / designer / manager or a Director of First Impressions that no one really know what he does in the company?
